The Ruckus ICX 7450-24 is a high-performance, mid-range enterprise-class stackable access and aggregation switch designed for demanding campus networks and data center Top-of-Rack (ToR) deployments. It provides 24 built-in 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ-45 copper ports and features a highly modular design with three expansion slots (one in the front, two in the back). These slots allow organizations to scale up their bandwidth on-demand by adding 1 GbE, 10 GbE, or 40 GbE uplinks or dedicated stacking ports.
Engineered with "pay-as-you-grow" scalability, the ICX 7450-24 supports market-leading stacking density, allowing up to 12 units to be managed as a single logical device with up to 960 Gbps of aggregated stacking bandwidth. It also delivers premium Layer 3 routing capabilities (including OSPF and BGP) and supports an optional hardware-accelerated IPsec VPN service module for secure site-to-site data encryption without requiring standalone appliances. High availability is maintained via dual, hot-swappable, redundant power supplies and fan trays capable of utilizing either front-to-back or back-to-front cooling options.
