The StarTech.com POEINJ30W is a hardened, industrial-grade 1-port Gigabit Power over Ethernet (PoE+) Midspan Injector. Encased in a rugged IP-30 rated aluminum housing, this device is engineered to deliver high-speed data transmission and up to 30 Watts of structural power to a remote PoE-compliant device (such as IP security cameras, automation sensors, or wireless access points) over standard Cat5e or higher cabling up to 100 meters (328 feet).

Unlike standard commercial injectors, the POEINJ30W is built specifically for harsh, temperature-volatile environments like factories, warehouses, traffic control cabinets, and outdoor enclosures. It features an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C and carries industrial ratings for high vibration, mechanical shock, and free-fall impact resistance. It also introduces Dual Power Inputs (via a terminal block or a DC barrel adapter), allowing administrators to set up redundant electrical paths to ensure continuous uptime if a primary power source fails.
